New-build heating

Air source heat pumps for new builds.

Low-carbon heating designed in from the start. We install air source heat pumps across new-build homes and developments — sized, fitted and commissioned as part of the mechanical package, to your programme.

Why heat pumps, why now

Low-carbon heating is becoming the default for new homes.

The Future Homes Standard is moving new-build heating away from gas boilers. New homes are required to meet carbon targets that fossil-fuel heating can't reach — which, in practice, means low-carbon systems, and for most developments that's air source heat pumps.

If you're specifying heat and hot water for a new scheme, an ASHP-led system is fast becoming the standard rather than the exception. We design and install those systems as part of the mechanical package — so the low-carbon heating is engineered in from first fix, not retro-fitted around a layout built for radiators and a gas boiler.

What we deliver.

Heat pump heating & hot water

Air source heat pumps providing both heating and hot water, sized to each house type and the scheme’s energy targets rather than a one-size-fits-all spec.

  • Heat pump sizing & selection
  • Heating and hot water
  • House-type by house-type design
  • Vaillant Approved Installer

The whole system, one package

The heat pump, underfloor heating, hot water cylinders and controls are designed and installed together as a single mechanical package — not bolted on after the heating’s already in.

  • Underfloor heating
  • Unvented hot water cylinders
  • Zoning and controls
  • First and second fix

At scale, to programme

Phased delivery across multiple plots, sequenced to the build programme and coordinated with the main contractor so heat and hot water are ready when each home is.

  • Multi-plot and phased schemes
  • Programme-driven delivery
  • Main contractor coordination
  • Plot-by-plot handover

Compliance & handover

Every system is commissioned, tested and documented for building control sign-off, with a handover pack for each home so residents and your sales team know how it runs.

  • Building regs compliance
  • Commissioning records
  • Handover documentation
  • Aftercare

Common questions

Do you design the heat pump system, or just install it?

Both. We size and design the air source heat pump, underfloor heating, hot water and controls as one system around each house type and the development’s energy targets, then install, commission and document it.

Can you deliver across a whole development?

Yes. We work phased across multiple plots, sequenced to your build programme and coordinated with the main contractor — plot by plot through to commissioning and handover.

Do new-build heat pumps need MCS certification?

New-build heat pumps are signed off through building control and the SAP assessment for each dwelling, rather than the MCS route used for grant-funded retrofit. We commission and document every system for building regs sign-off.

Which heat pumps do you install?

We’re a Vaillant Approved Installer and specify equipment to suit the development. We’re happy to work to a developer’s preferred manufacturer or an existing specification.

What areas do you cover?

Bedfordshire and the surrounding counties — Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire. We consider schemes outside this on request.

Heat pumps on your next scheme?
